For the past decade, Israel has been struck and amazed by the enormous ingenuity and success of Aviv Geffen, by far Israel’s biggest rock artist, and a major influence on local society as a whole.
Beginning as a teen rebel in the early 90’s, Aviv had initially caused several scandals for his provocative quotations, controversial lyrics, looks and image, and unusual attitude towards strict social conventions such as not serving the Israeli military, wearing bizarre make-up and so on.
 It didn’t take too long before Geffen conquered the local music market, still in his teens. By mid- decade, Aviv’s amazing songs had become a part of Israel’s all-time classics, his record sales topped every possible chart, and his concerts became a popular phenomenon. 
Geffen has continued recording an album almost every year and has reached platinum each time. Aside from being Israel’s most successful artist, bestselling singer and most revered performer, Aviv has slowly begun spreading his talent worldwide, giving live shows in London and New York, gaining recognition in Europe and the States, and collaborating with Steven Wilson, the well-known lead singer of “Porcupine Tree”.
 Currently recording a new album in the world at the famous Puk Studio in Denmark, Aviv remains a major attraction to audiences, Israeli and non-Israeli alike. Attending his concerts leaves one without doubt: Aviv is one of the best performers to be found today. 


Aviv offers two types of shows; an acoustic show that includes acoustic versions of the best songs selected from all of his albums, on acoustic guitar and on piano Eran Mitelman, and a full-out rock band show.
