Midnight Peacocks is a hardcore rock trio from Tel Aviv. They play music they like to define as “circus-core” – a crossover between hard-core, oriental and cabaret. Midnight Peacocks started performing in October 2004 and have since played around 200 live concerts including warm ups for Mike Patton, Dub Trio & Firewater from the USA. The Peacock’s first album, “It’s a Brutal Machine” (2006), was released by Earsay Records and officially helped to establish them as the leading band of the Israeli indie scene. The new release from the band is a concept album entitled “Shalosh” (Hebrew for number three). The album contains 3 main parts. The first is a hard core rock EP, the second is an Arabic instrumental & the third is experimental.

In his music and lyrics, Eitan Radoshinski (bass & vocals) addresses issues such as obsession and fanaticism, which he believe to be at the core of the world’s disharmony, in a style soaked with the schizophrenia and jolly Sinicism that come with the territory of life at the geographical point of friction between east and west. The Midnight Peacocks believe that any meeting between musicians on stage and a crowd is unique and can only be the same once. For that reason they try to bring a different experience in each and every live show rather than duplicating a show in front of different crowds. Midnight Peacocks played their music in many different locations ranging from an ancient cave in Jerusalem, DIY shows in the streets, army base & gay parties to rock clubs & music festivals. The trio is hosting musicians from many different styles and backgrounds. The full version of the collective is with 12 musicians on stage including violins, Darbuka drums, saxophone, a belly dancer and a performance artist.
