Terry Poison Bio
Rising from the sweaty underground, Terry Poison, Tel Aviv’s notorious electrock&roll crew have been performing together relentlessly all over the world since 2005. They have been on stages with artists such as Justice, CSS and Calvin Harris and they will warm up for Depeche Mode in the opening tour concert kicking of on the 10th of May this year in Tel Aviv. Terry Poison has in the past year gained huge local recognition with two hits both that made it number one on the big national radios and appearing none stop in the media.
Terry Poison is a complete LIVE electronic act with a killer rock’nroll vibe.
Putting a great emphasis on music, staging and fashion, Terry Poison’s music and live shows have been described as nothing short of “American sleaze with European finesse”, “Highly provocative, sweaty and delicious”, “A true love child of samplers and guitar riffs, analog synths and apocalyptic beats” their favorite: “The Tarantino of pop”.
“We like to think of ourselves as a Terry Poison party”
Louise is the lead singer and number one Madame of the band. She is in charge of the crazy dancing. A real-life Norwegian Power-Puff girl, plays keyboards and guitars and co-writes the trax with the Pimp, Mr. Bruno Grife.
Petite, a philosophy major trapped in a lolita’s body, plays keyboards and sings, (preferably in the international language du’lamour). She’s always a little heartbroken and dances accordingly.
Bruno on the synth-bass, is a beat-master, in-the-shadows- compu-wiz-kid – in charge of the fabulous sound.
In a dark corner of the party, Anna plays the electric guitar. She is always dressed in white and ready to bite (Anna is the serial heart-breaker of the band. She never falls in love).
Gili plays the synth-guitar and sings the vocoder. She’s always a little unstable due to too much whiskey, high heels and being in general taller then the average.
And to make the party bounce, Issar, a human drum machine plays Live electronic triggered drums.

Terry Poison is a fictional character that we made up because our lives are really boring. We are quiet nice girls from bourgeoisie homes, proper education, careers, you know… We had to make up this fantasy girl, Terry Poison, to have something interesting to write about. We are also really quiet in bed. Usually we fall asleep in the middle.
Gilli: I never fall asleep in the middle!
Louise: Ok, everything I do, they also do. But lately, due to too much partying, our lives are starting to be like Terry Poison’s. So who is Terry Poison, who’s who?
Gili: She’s the one falling asleep in bed.
Louise: Yes, it’s not us!
Bruno: I can give you a serious answer. It’s an excuse for every girl. Whenever you feel like doing things you always wanted to do, and you never have the guts to, just say Terry Poison did it.
Terry Poison are in Israel top music charts with the hits: “dolls”, “smack snack” and “comme ci comme ca”, and had chosen to be Depeche Mode warm up show in May 10th in Israel.
On may 17th the Terry poison album went out to the stores.
